Welcome students and parents of the 2014-2015 class!
I'm so excited to have you here. I'm thrilled to announce our first field trip of the year, scheduled for Tuesday, September 23rd. We plan on leaving the school about 9:30 AM and we will return about 1:00 PM. We do not require any volunteers, but if you would like to, you are welcome to meet us at the museum at 10:00 AM and pay your own entrance fees (the museum is graciously able to offer our students a free field trip as part of a subsidized program). We will eat a sack lunch at the Gateway and return to the school about 1:00 PM. As a reminder, students on a level 0 are not able to participate in school-sponsored field trips and students on level 1 at a teacher discretion, so encourage your students to improve if they are on either of these levels so they can participate in our fun! (Those unable to attend typically stay home or make arrangements for a work-only day at school). Students are not required to make any donation toward our field trip, but may purchase a school-provided sack lunch for the regular student lunch price. Please watch for a note from school indicating whether or not your student will require a school lunch.
